Diabetes patients have a hard time. They have to use medicines every day. Also, they need to check their glucose and blood sugar level with a glucose meter everyday. This is a lot of hassle, it could be much easier. Because, besides those facts, they also need to go to the doctor and pick up their medicines at a pharmacy.

Picking up at a pharmacy is not necessary any more. At least, in Malaysia. The government and the National Diabetes Institute created a
diabetes webshop for the whole country. On this webshop the patients can buy test strips and lancets periodically. But, also food supplements and diet products. This is also of huge importance because there are a lot of obesity people living in Malaysian.
Food Pattern Malaysia
This has to do with the amount of food consumed, which contains a lot of sugar. Because MC Donalds and Burger King came to the country it was getting unhealthier by the day. The government now tries to inform the people to eat more healthy, and consume less sugar. They do this by conventions and speak to the population on the streets. They also created an advertisement campaign, which is launching at the end of the year.
